Girl Only Supoptique Trophy - 2023
In 2023, because i wanted to be more involved in gender equality and because I wanted to see how a sport competition could be planned, I joined the administrative team of the GOSDT to held the roles of treasurer and sponsorship manager for the Girls Only Supoptique Trophy (GOST), a regional sports competition promoting female participation in university-level athletics.
The Girls Only SupOptique Trophy was created 10 years ago by the Sports Association (BDS) of SupOptique (now the Institut d'Optique Graduate School). It is a student sports tournament exclusively for women* (*including trans women and non-binary individuals) that takes place every year on a Saturday around March on the Ecole Polytechnique campus. The goal of this event is to promote women's sports, encourage female students in higher education to engage in sports - especially in competitive settings - and to combat gender inequality in sports representation.
In our society, women have fewer opportunities to engage in sports compared to men. Beyond an upbringing that does not always promote physical activity, far fewer women's sporting events are organized, and female athletes receive much less media coverage.
Not at all! On the contrary. However, an exclusively female tournament seems important in the fight for equal gender representation in sports. First, it encourages women to participate! Indeed, it's not always easy to join a mixed competition, where there's a fear of being compared to men's results or even being sidelined during the event. With only women on the field, athletes can feel more comfortable, confident, and enjoy their moment more fully. Finally, it's also an opportunity to reflect on gender equality in sports, which remains a sexist environment, as is regularly highlighted in the news.

SupOdcast - 2024 - Now
SuPodcast is a podcast station project that helps students navigate their professional careers by showcasing examples from alumni of the school. Each episode sheds light on a path to the future. For students with unconventional backgrounds, or for alumni looking to transition into a new field, what options are available to them? We believe the SupOptique alumni network can provide answers.
The goal is to :
- Create a resource to assist with professional orientation.
- Offer career advice and insights into career progression.
- Focus on careers after SupOptique, rather than just the engineering profession.
- Enable students to envision a career within a specific company.

Winged Watch - 2024 - Now
Winged Watch is a data visualization project which goal is to work from meteorological databases to compute the optimal course for a sailing boat, according to wind, tidal currents, bathymetric map and artificial beacons. The project is in progress and available on github :
